Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 27, 2026

IFS Guide (the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand what information we gather, how we use it, what we do to protect it, and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service.

1CONSENT & HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

This Privacy Policy applies globally to all services provided by IFS Guide, including our website (ifsguide.com), our marketing channels, and our **IFS Guide Mobile Application** (available on the official mobile application marketplaces).

We process your data transparently and securely for specific, clear purposes. Our grounds for handling your information under global privacy standards include:

  • To Deliver Our Services: Required to host your user account, synchronize your saved data between the application and web platforms, process registrations for our programs or events, and securely manage your billing and subscription transactions.
  • To Protect & Maintain Our Platforms: Used to maintain server security, protect forms from spam bots (via automated verification and spam-protection services), diagnose application crashes, and monitor server capacity.
  • With Your Active Permission: Used to send opt-in email newsletters, push notifications, and evaluate app metrics which you can adjust or turn off at any time using your device settings or our Cookie Consent Banner.

You have the complete right to manage or withdraw your consent at any time without penalty. Please read our Terms of Use to understand our contractual relationship.

2INFORMATION WE COLLECT & MOBILE APP STORAGE

We may collect both “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information” across our website and mobile application:

  • Account & Profile details: Name, billing details, and email addresses when you register. If you choose to log in using third-party single sign-on (such as secure social or device identity providers), we collect secure login tokens provided by those platforms.
  • Local Device Storage (AsyncStorage): To offer a fast and responsive experience in our mobile application, we store your app preferences, localized settings, and cached user inputs directly on your mobile device.
  • User-Generated Content & Inputs: If you utilize speech-to-text input features or interactive voice conversational assistants within our platforms, all spoken inputs are securely transcribed. We do not record, store, or retain your raw voice or audio streams on our servers; only the resulting text entries and any media uploads you choose to save are stored securely in encrypted cloud databases to sync them to your account.
  • Anonymous Activity Telemetry: To protect your identity, we track app usage statistics, device platforms, localized regions, and aggregated navigation paths anonymously using pseudonymous unique identifiers. We decouple your direct personal identity from our analytical metrics.

On our website, we track these analytics using cookies. On our mobile app, we utilize standard device identifiers which you can reset or disable at any time in your iOS or Android privacy settings.

3HOW WE SHARE & DISCLOSE INFORMATION (OUR PROCESSORS)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information with third parties. To deliver our Service across our web and mobile applications, we share data only with secure, GDPR-compliant service providers (processors) under strict confidentiality agreements. We categorize these service providers below:

  • Secure Cloud Database & Authentication Hosting: To host your profile details and saved text entries, synchronize records between your devices, process secure database authentication, and support logging in with secure single sign-on providers.
  • In-App Community Forums & Social Feeds: To host, render, and manage community group posts, public chat messages, member profiles, and social feed interactions.
  • Web Payment Gateways & Secure Billing: To securely process credit card payments and manage premium web subscription memberships directly without storing your billing details on our servers.
  • Mobile App Subscriptions & Store Billing: To manage, unlock, and verify premium in-app purchases and subscriptions made directly through standard mobile operating system marketplaces.
  • Pseudonymized Analytics & Deep-Linking Services: To measure app usage metrics, deep-link campaign routing, and marketing conversion rates anonymously without identifying you.
  • Crash Reporting & App Health Telemetry: To monitor mobile app stability, compile debugging metrics, and identify and squash software bugs anonymously.
  • Artificial Intelligence Assistants: To securely process prompt queries and serve real-time support in our interactive features using secure, pseudonymized connections. These processors do not use your personal prompts to train public models.
  • Email Delivery Services: To distribute newsletters and transactional support notifications.
  • Edge Security & Web Server Hosting: To serve fast web page loads and protect web forms from bot attacks.

Certain third-party service providers, such as payment processors, have their own independent privacy policies governing their transaction handling. We strongly encourage you to review their terms during payment checkouts.

4HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION

We implement advanced administrative, technical, and physical security measures to safeguard your Personal Information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or destruction. We encrypt data in transit using TLS and HTTPS protocols. Storing telemetry and activity statistics pseudonymously is a core pillar of our design. However, please be aware that no transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and while we follow industry best practices, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA (GDPR RIGHTS)

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, privacy laws grant you the following comprehensive legal rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right of Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete details.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request the permanent deletion of your personal data when it is no longer required for contractual or legal purposes.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: Restrict how we process your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to Data Portability: Receive a machine-readable copy of your personal data for transmission to another provider.
  • Right to Object: Object to the processing of your data based on our legitimate interests or direct marketing campaigns.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing (such as tracking cookies or newsletter subscriptions).
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: Lodge a complaint with a European Data Protection Authority (supervisory regulator) if you believe our data practices violate privacy standards.

To execute any of these rights, please email us directly at ifs@ifsguide.com. We will respond to your verified request within 30 days.

6DATA RETENTION POLICIES

We only store your Personal Information for as long as your user account is active, or for the duration necessary to fulfill our core contractual agreements, satisfy accounting/tax requirements, or comply with legal record-keeping obligations. When you submit a request to delete your account, we completely purge or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except for transaction receipts that must be preserved under tax audits.

7INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

IFS Guide operates globally, and your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our cloud databases are hosted. The data protection laws in the United States may differ from those in your jurisdiction. We protect and authorize transfers of European data to the US by entering into standard Data Processing agreements containing standard contractual safeguards, ensuring equivalent security.

8AGE OF CONSENT & DIGITAL MINORS

By using our Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or 16 years of age for European Union residents), or that you have obtained verifiable parental or guardian consent to use this Service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under the age of 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with unauthorized personal information, please notify us immediately, and we will take immediate steps to terminate the account and purge their data.

9CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

The Company reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use at any time. When we make updates, we will post the changes directly on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. We recommend you check this page periodically for updates. Your continued use of our Service after we post revised changes indicates your acceptance of the updated privacy practices.

10EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS & OPTING OUT

We will occasionally send you Service-related notices when necessary (for example, server maintenance alerts or payment receipts). You may not opt-out of these non-promotional admin transactional emails. However, you can opt-out of marketing newsletters or promotional updates at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any promotional email, or by managing your settings in the App.

11CONTACT US & WITHDRAWING CONSENT

If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, our data processing protocols, or wish to exercise your right to access, restrict, or erase your Personal Information, please contact our data team by sending an email to ifs@ifsguide.com.
